Planning Blog: Other Info!

Location: 

 

We will be filming at Jack’s house which is within a neighborhood which can help connect the friendships shown in the final task.  Other locations include Galleria Mall and Holiday Park, both common hangout spots that we’re all familiar with.

Health: 

 

To ensure there is sufficient source safety while in production for the final task, we will be having Jack’s parents provide support and safety. Since our primary filming location is at Jack’s house, whenever we are filming their one, if not both, and Jack's parents will be in the house and present when needed. 

 

Some scenes may be filmed outside of Jack’s house and around the neighborhood, as well as at various other locations. For all places not at Jack’s house, we’ll be having Jack’s older sister who is a legal adult and can help us in the event that we need a source of safety.  

 

Schedule: 

01/24-01/26/25: These dates will be our planning period. To avoid any excessive communiting, all planning will be done on Facetime for easier communication. We will be discussing the title and title sequence, finalizing the plot we’re choosing based on our chosen pitch, and creating the script for the final task.  

02/07-02/09/25: This weekend will be dedicated to filming. Each day we will allocate for each location. We’ll start on 02/07/25 at my house and in the neighborhood and film all the scenes necessary there. Then on 02/08/25 we’ll have Holiday Park and film what is needed there. Our filming will conclude on 02/09/25 when we’ll film at Galleria Mall. 

 

02/14-02/16/25: We predict editing to be a rather lengthy process, which is why we’re splitting it up across three days. The first day we will go through all of the clips shot for each scene and pick out the best ones. The next day we’ll edit the first half of the scenes. On the last day we’ll finalize editing by finishing the uncomplete scenes. 

Back Up Plan: 

 

If Jack's house is not available for filming, the filming location will switch to Valentina’s house. This switch also leads to our back-up safety plan, that being that when we’re filming at Valentina’s house, Valentina’s parents will be our safety team.  

 

Weather in Florida is always unpredictable, so with this incase one of our outdoor filming days gets rained out and we can’t film outside in the neighborhood, those scenes will have to be improvised with some slight adjustments so they can make sense being filming inside.
