Finalizing our Final Task! - LAST Production blog!

Hello, my fellow bloggers! Production has officially ended, and I’ve never been happier! It was a chaotic journey, especially towards the end, filled with unexpected technical difficulties that made things even more stressful. With that said, let’s get into the details! When it comes to scheduling, we, unfortunately, had to stray from our planned editing timeline. Once again, Valentina and I were both extremely busy, which threw our plans off course. In the end, we found ourselves editing on the very same day that we were supposed to wrap everything up. This made the editing process rushed, which definitely wasn't ideal. On top of that, I had a birthday dinner to attend, so I knew I wouldn’t be available to edit when the time came. As if that wasn’t enough, there was a breakdown in communication between Valentina and me. She had originally told me that she could take care of the editing, but it turned out she wasn’t able to after all. That left me in a bit of a bind, as the deadlin...

Tidious Territories... - Production Update

Hey blog readers! Here’s another update in our contrition of production! This update I’ll explain to you guys the progress Valentina and I have made in production. Editing is easily the hardest part of producing any body of media. Especially with the scheduling changes we’ve had to make along the way. But anyways, after selecting the clips to edit, it’s time to actually edit them. I focused on the length of the clips, carefully adjusting where the start and end so everything meshes together cohesively. I used CapCut, a popular editing platform, which made the process so much easier. I arranged all the clips together and adjusted their length to fit everything in the 2 minute time range. Following, I went in YouTube to find sound effects I could add to the ambiance of the film. I tried finding phone notification sounds, doors slamming, drums beating, and anything that I could add to our film to give it more thriller elements.
